The song
A standout single from the 1991 album Un Uomo in Blues, this track became a major hit during a period of profound social and cultural upheaval in Italy. With a strong political message, inspired by the rise of Lega Nord, it delivers a sharp and masterful satire on racism, the migration of southern workers to northern Italy, and the contrasting perspectives and worldviews shaped by geography.
If there is an incommunicability between North and South, it lies in the details.
The posters were photographed at Bicerin and monomono in Turin.
